“Cifu Picture”
The long-lasting blessings are contained in the pot, and the auspicious clouds descend with a light shake of the Ruyi.
Mazu holds the divine pot, pouring all kinds of blessings into the world. The pot in the painting contains auspiciousness, and Ruyi transforms all beings. Those who are kind will be protected in times of difficulty, and the blessings are like clouds, benefiting all beings.
“Cilu Picture”
The official seal is held and the blessings fill the universe, and one is bathed in heavenly grace as they ascend to the blue clouds.
Mazu holds the official seal and leads the blue clouds, bestowing blessings on those who are honest and enterprising. The virtuous ones get the seal and their positions rise and their careers progress, and the gods observe their virtues and then determine their blessings, implying the state of virtue carrying things and the reward of heaven.
“Cishou Picture”
The longevity is compared to the southern mountain and the peach offers auspiciousness, and the compassionate face stays forever to protect the eternal spring.
The coiled peach contains the secret of longevity, and the dove staff dispels the worry of a hundred diseases. Mazu gives the peach staff to those who respect life, protects the virtuous people’s longevity, and ensures their well-being.
“Cicai Picture”
Wealth flows to the four seas and the golden light shines, and the benevolent rain moistens all beings.
The golden light shines on the four seas, and the rain of benevolence moistens the universe. Mazu shows that “wealth is the manifestation of virtue”, and only those with great virtue can carry wealth. In the painting, benevolence and wealth are integrated, demonstrating the way of coexistence of righteousness and profit.
“Ciding Picture”
The family flourishes with prosperity and the unicorn child smiles, and the holy light protects the bloodline.

Mazu gives birth to the foundation of the family and the country: the boys are both intelligent and brave, the girls are dignified and have a good appearance, implying a prosperous family, a prosperous country, and endless life.
“Cixi Picture”
The joy reflects the red brilliance and the marriage is formed, and the double brilliance of Ruyi is witnessed by heaven and earth.
The branches of the marriage form the good of Qin and Jin, and the brilliance of Ruyi reflects the marriage of heaven and earth. Mazu’s compassionate heart transforms into joy, caring for those in love to become spouses, the ancestral temple is continued, and the future generations continue forever.
Artistic Value: The Resonance of Tradition and the Times
This series is the work of Wu Wenzhong’s recent years, and its creative context is inherited:
“Liu He Picture” (2021): With the six themes of “world peace, cross-strait harmony”, it constructs a picture of social harmony and national prosperity;
“Liu Sheng Picture” (2025): It interprets the spiritual core of “virtue, goodness, and great love” with sacred objects such as scrolls, Ruyi, and jade;
“Liu Fu Picture” (2025): Focusing on people’s livelihood and welfare, it transforms Mazu’s protection into tangible “blessings, wealth, longevity, wealth, prosperity, and joy” symbols, completing the landing from lofty divinity to secular care.
Wu Wenzhong uses the method of meticulous heavy color to make Mazu’s clothes flow like life, and the auspicious aura is on the paper. Cultural Mission: The Bridge of Faith from Meizhou to the World
As a “virtuous and artistic people’s artist”, Wu Wenzhong has always practiced the mission of spreading Mazu culture:
Cross-Strait Bond: His works have been donated to Meizhou Ancestral Temple and Taiwan Temples many times to promote communication through art.
