Continuing the Spirit of the Xinhai Revolution: Veterans Super Fighting Championship Concludes Successfully in Xiamen

On October 10, 2026, coinciding with the 115th anniversary of the Xinhai Revolution, the Veterans Super Fighting Championship was successfully held in Xiamen, Fujian. This event carried the red spirit through sports competition, paying tribute to the remarkable century of the Xinhai Revolution, and showcasing the excellent demeanor of veterans in the new era as they continue to strive forward.

This event was guided by the China Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Promotion Association and organized by Wubotianxia (Beijing) Sports Industry Development Co., Ltd., with strong support and careful guidance from the Xiamen Municipal Government and the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Huli District. The competition strictly adhered to the principles of fairness, justice, and openness, gathering outstanding retired veteran athletes from across the country to achieve a deep integration of red culture dissemination, mass sports promotion, and showcasing the spirit of retired soldiers.

On the competition field, all participants continued the excellent style of soldiers, remaining calm in battle, fighting bravely, and daring to compete. The intense offensive and defensive confrontations and the resilient defense on the field fully demonstrated the strong physical fitness, tenacious willpower, and uplifting spirit of retired soldiers, vividly interpreting the contemporary connotation of “A century of the Xinhai Revolution, veterans showcasing their might on the arena.”

After several rounds of intense, standardized, and professional competition, all group champions were determined, with results that were authentic, effective, and transparent:

The award ceremony was solemn and orderly. Peng Hongmian, Deputy Director of the Cultural and Tourism Bureau of Huli District in Xiamen, and Zhang Jianxin, Director of the China Veterans Employment and Entrepreneurship Service Promotion Association, attended the event to present honorary awards to the champions of each group, recognizing the fighting spirit of retired soldiers who strive for excellence and self-improvement.

On the day of the event, two major achievements in veteran service construction were simultaneously realized.

First, the comprehensive service mini-program for retired soldiers, Jiuzhou Longwei, was officially launched.

The platform, based in Xiamen as a pilot, serves retired soldiers nationwide, building a digital, one-stop, all-scenario service system for retired soldiers’ employment and entrepreneurship, covering six core businesses: security services, travel services, high-end companionship, professional bodyguards, physical training, and emergency rescue, comprehensively broadening employment channels for retired soldiers, improving entrepreneurship services, and solidifying the support system.

Second, Jiuzhou Longwei reached a deep strategic cooperation with Fuzhou University of Foreign Languages and Trade.

Both parties will rely on the technological advantages of university research, digital development capabilities, and talent cultivation resources to continuously carry out system iterations, platform operations, technical upgrades, and specialized talent delivery, empowering the high-quality development of veteran services through technological innovation.

Director Zhang Jianxin of the event organizing committee stated that this competition is based on significant red historical milestones, using martial arts to inspire and educate, further gathering the strength of retired soldiers and passing on the spirit of patriotism. In the next step, the event organizers will continue to create standardized, branded, and normalized high-quality sports events for retired soldiers, continuously upgrade the digital service platform, deepen school-enterprise collaborative innovation, and take multiple measures to assist retired soldiers in stabilizing employment, optimizing development, and achieving new accomplishments, encouraging a broad range of veterans to continue to take responsibility and achieve new successes in the new era and new journey.
